The Kaluga turbine plant was created into 1946 for produce steam turbines. Later ten years were created and delivered the modular turbogenerators for first nuclear-powered icebreaker. In 1960 the turbines by the power 25 MW, in particular on increased (up to 9 MPa) the steam parameters were created. With 1966 began the production of modular turbogenerators and steam turbines under orders of navy. The prototype of complex modular automated the steam turbine, that had not the analogs in the practice of domestic and foreign was created shipbuilding. In 1993 of ÊÒÇ is evolved into joint-stock company. In December 2002 under the plans of Russian joint-stock company "of unified power grid" the first stage of Mutnovsky geothermal plant with two unique turbines of joint-stock company "ÊÒÇ" power on 25 MW have been put in service each.
